POST-NUT was formed in Cydonia, Nutone in the year 1986 by Hall Dimun (singer), Yuyi Palb (Drummer) Paul Sparettire (Bassist) and Mort Ergoniu (Guitarrist). They released their first demo tape in 1987. It's was called "A Nutty Hour", most songs were Alternative Metal or Noise Metal. That same year, they were signed to Moe's Records. in 1989, they released their self-titled debut album. It was a small success, reaching number 77 on the Billboard Chart that year.
They went on a tour across and released a live album 2 years later "live 'n' Nuts" wich was not a success, reaching number 100 on the Billboard Chart that year. 5 years later, their second album was released name "POST-NUT 2". It's was a mild success, reaching number 22 on the Billboard Chart that year.
They went on multiple tours for the next 7 years until the record label they were on went bankrupt. They went on break for the next 5 months until Mort's little sister (Michelle) signed them on her label, Nutone Records. To celebrate this they released an EP called "Nutone's Greatest" wich was a big success. Reaching number 4 on the Billboard Chart that year. The lead single, "Killer Return" was successful, reaching number 1 on the Billboard Chart that year. This EP was different from their first 2 albums. This EP was more Nu-Metal than anything else. They went on more tours for the next 6 years, until the guitarrist, Mort Ergoniu left for personal reasons and they broke up.
After 7 years they decided to reform with a new guitarrist, called Reimi Reilz. That same year they went on tour with her.
5 years later. The bassist, Paul Sparetire left and Reimi's little sister joined them.
Barry (Barbedwire) Wirlo was born in the year 1974. When he was 10 he bacame a big fan of rap and 6 years after that he released his first mixtape called "Barbwired" wich got him signed to a label. His rap style was quite hardcore.
4 years later, He released his selftitled debut album. It was a success, Reaching number 31 on the Billboard Chart that year. He went on tour were he met the members of POST-NUT and they became friends.
He went on break for 10 until he decided to join Nutone Records because his girlfriend was the owner of it. were he decided to make a collaborative album with POST-NUT wich was big success, reaching number 5 on the Billboard Chart that year. After 5 years, He married his girlfriend, Michelle.
He didn't release anything for 14 years (Because he was busy with family stuff) until 2023, when he released his lastest mixtape called "Crown" wich was quite succcessful, Reaching number 7 on the Billboard Chart that year. The lead single, "King (Ft. Reimi Reilz From POST-NUT)" was very successful, reaching number 1 on the Billboard Chart that year.
